The primary bilge pump activated sometime this afternoon (according to the counter). This took several days but I had completely pumped out the bilge at the start so it will be more telling to see how long it takes before it goes off again.
Several visits to the boat today to paint. One of the nice things about using latex is that it dries so quickly. It is hard (from pictures) to convey how much whiter it looks with the new paint. I don’t think someone would ever put a point on it – but the space would/does feel ‘fresh’. This is an ongoing process.
Next is the starboard side. Unlike the port side – this will start with refreshing the varnish on the teak. The last application of varnish was applied while it was too hot. This left a lot of blisters. So I will have to scrape some off and then apply at least one fresh coat.
