I received the switch panel today and got to installing it soon after. I could have used a generic Blue Seas modular switch panel but my intention is to have the name of the boat and the year etched into the panel and for that I needed a panel with space around the edges.

For some reason I was shipped 2 spotlight switches. The plan for the, currently, empty space is to put a blank in there or a dual USB charger. I guess the supplier thought it odd to send out a panel with an empty spot – not sure.

I connected the; Nav/Anchor and Spot switches. They work as expected but I have yet to connect their indicator lights because I have to run a ground up for that. I will connect the Start/Run/Stop button when I get to starting the engine – hopefully late next week.

I ordered a C-MAP 4D card for the chart plotter. I forgot to order a flush mount kit for the VHF (to secure it) – hope to do that tomorrow.
