I never take for granted how fortunate I (and Euphemia) are to have the boathouse. Its a floating work shop with a boat inside. Rain or dark does not matter. I sometimes wonder if I like Euphemia or Euphemia in a boathouse.
I installed an LED strip over the back of the galley counter. This used to be a fluorescent tube light. The new one is; LED, has a dimmer, and can be swung down to shine over the whole counter. Will see how this looks when I power it up next week.
Note: Preserve jar rack in the back is not secured yet.
Installed a new stern light. The old stern light fell apart when I removed it to check the bulb. The new stern light is in place and should work when I power it up next week – but I will need to address the finish of the wood around it in the spring. I may also need to address one of the wire connections as it is a bit too fragile for me to be calling it ‘good’.
