The house batteries are not taking a charge – may have to get new ones. They are 7 years old with their good performance years lapsed. The new version of these batteries cost $650/each. I would also have to wait a week and then go into Vancouver to get them. On the Coast I can get a lesser battery for $325/each. They are on the shelf and are about 25% less effective (probably even less effective based upon my past experience with Interstate).
I remember having the same dilemma with replacing Merva’s house batteries and I went for the cheaper batteries.
Will give the charger another day and see what happens.
Cut some new panels and rails to screw them to. Coming along.
For the most part I am avoiding 120v stuff but today I rerouted a line that was under cabinet in the galley so that it is now at the back of the box housing the 2-burner stove.
I also installed the relocated receptacle in the breaker box. It is hidden away by being under the lip of the bed – so nobody will notice it there – perfect.
