Spent almost an hour making a way for the new wires in the aft-head. A good chunk of this time was in getting out a 20 inch section of unused 120v wire. I was then able to route the new 12v wiring through the vacated space.

The distribution/fuse box is now wired. Well – I need to run a 10 AWG to it from the breaker panel (with a 30 AMP breaker) and then its done. The wires are colour coded with tape every 6 inches. Wires are paired (pos/neg) as much as possible. No chaining fixtures and no ‘spaghetti’ mess. Should make tracing/problem solving relatively easy. Fuse box allows fixture specific fuses (better than a simple bus bar).

I wanted to have aft-head stuff on this fuse box and nothing else but I was compelled to compromise with the cabin lighting. I have two of those in the aft-head fuse box and one in a galley fuse box. It just did not make sense to consolidate the 3 cabin light wiring to one side of the boat and add their own fuse box.
